Colmore Row, Birmingham City Centre closure

On Wednesday 29th July 2026, from 10pm to 5am, Colmore Row will be closed between Livery Street and Newhall Street for IIP patch repair works. During this time, services 9, 12, 13, 23, 24, 82, 87, 101, 126, X8 & X10 will be diverted.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will terminate on Snow Hill Queensway.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will start from stop SQ3 on Snow Hill Queensway, then continue Snow Hill Queensway, left Great Charles Street Queensway, left Livery Street, right Edmund Street, and continue Edmund Street to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Newhall Street.

Services 23, 24, 82 & 87

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will divert from Colmore Circus Queensway, right Snow Hill Queensway to serve stop SQ2, continue Snow Hill Queensway, left Great Charles Street Queensway, left Livery Street, right Edmund Street, and continue Edmund Street to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Newhall Street.

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Service 101

Heading towards Birmingham

Buses will divert from Livery Street, left Colmore Row, and continue Colmore Circus to terminate at stop SQ8.

Heading from Birmingham

Buses will start from stop SQ1 on Snow Hill Queensway, then continue Snow Hill Queensway, left Great Charles Street Queensway, left Livery Street, right Edmund Street, and continue Edmund Street to rejoin the normal line of route after the junction with Newhall Street.
